Time Requirements:

This course requires A LOT of time. In addition to the 28 hours of class, there are multiple video modules to complete before and between course sessions. It is my hope that this intense course will inspire, motivate, and energize you.

Required:

• Suzuki, Cello School, Book 1, revised edition

• Suzuki, Cello School, Book 1, recordings (Sometimes these come with the book. Also available on iTunes and Amazon music.)

• Suzuki, Nurtured by Love, revised edition

• Suzuki, Ability Development from Age Zero

• Pre-Twinkle Resource Packet ($12). Email info@suzukiassociation.org, and ask for a "Cello Pre-Twinkle Resource Packet." They will send you an invoice. After payment is received, you will be sent a pdf copy over email.

Recommended:

• Suzuki, Cello School, piano accompaniment, Book 1, revised edition

Requirements for SAA Unit 1 Registration:

• Completion of all pre-requisites defined on the SAA training page. There are several time-sensitive pre-requisites, so it would be wise to check this out soon!

• 100% attendance in the 28 hours of the course

• Submission of 15 hours of lesson observation records

• Video must be on for the entire course

Additional Requirements:

• Complete required online modules (to be completed beforehand and during the course)

• Read required books

• Complete assignments on time, both before and during the course dates.

• Participants are expected to memorize the pieces in Bk 1.
